PLACING this routine at the beginning of your 48K Spectrum programs will
allow you to change the ink and paper colour and the bright and flash mode
without the usual CLS command. Select the colours you require by POKEing
32509 the ATTR number you require. Thus to call-up yellow letters on a
red background enter POKE 32509,85: RANDOMIZE USR 32500.
For readers not familiar with ATTR an explanation can be found on page 219
of the Spectrum manual.
