Greetings Cylu, Warrior King, to the land of Evol. Our people need a new
leader to make us great again. He must be agile, and show that he is wise
and strong, and so we have devised a test. If you pass, you will prove that
you are worthy. If you fail...

THE GAME
Your quest, Cylu, begins in a small crowded chamber deep within the heart
of a large maze. Hidden in the maze are 24 objects which must be collected,
returned to the starting point, and deposited in the Master Computer. Once
all the objects have been deposited you will be deemed worthy to be our new
leader. During the journey you will encounter: 32 forcefields which will
bar your way to many sections of the maze (until disabled by placing the
corresponding processors in the Master Computer), nine teleport terminals
which, when used with the relevant teleport keys, will provide access to
isolated areas of the maze, a master refuel (RFL) at the base unit, a master
return to base (RTB) unit and 30 fuel canisters.
LOADING
1. Connect the EAR socket of your Spectrum to the EAR socket of your tape
recorder.
2. Place the tape in the tape recorder and rewind to the beginning.
3. Type LOAD " " and press ENTER on your Spectrum
4. Press PLAY/LOAD on your tape recorder.
NOTE: Full loading instructions can be found in your Spectrum manual.
PLAYING THE GAME
Full instructions are provided in the program itself, with some useful hints.
Keyboard controls are:
CAPS SHIFT, X, V, N or SYMBOL SHIFT = ROTATE LEFT
Z, C, B, M or SPACE = ROTATE RIGHT
A to ENTER = MOVE FORWARD Q, W, E, R or T = PICK UP OBJECT
Y, U, I, O or P = DROP OBJECT 2, 3 or 4 = SELECT OBJECT
5 or 6 = EXAMINE OBJECT 7, 8 or 9 = USE OBJECT
0 = PAUSE GAME 1 (when PAUSE on) = RESTART GAME
1 (when PAUSE off) = EXAMINE FORCEFIELD
1 and S = SAVE CURRENT POSITION
1 and L = LOAD OLD POSITION
CAPS SHIFT and BREAK = ABORT GAME
Cylu may carry up to five objects at any time in the cargo bays (indicated
on screen by the numbered squares). Only one bay may be accessed at a time -
selected using the 2, 3 or 4 keys.
Try to finish the quest with as low an efficiency rating as possible. Good
