OMNICALC 2 FOR USE WITH DISCOVERY 2
The program must be used with Opus Centronics interface.
Graphics can be printed on Epson compatible printers.
Load the program by placing the disk in drive 1 and press RUN ENTER.
The program will then ask you if you want to Load or Init? always press "I" and enter the maximum size of your spread sheet i.e.50
columns, 50 rows.
You can then start entering your figures.
To get you use the program we have supplied a sample file on the disk called "TEST" and we will explain how you can LOAD SAVE
and PRINT this file.
To LOAD and SAVE files on disk press "Z" you will then have the following options.
Save-model.
Press "S" will save current file onto disk.
Load-model.
Press "L" will load a file from disk.
Copy-Work.
Press "C" will copy current work area onto disk.
Restore-work.
Press "R" will restore work from disk into program.
Print.
Press "P" will allow you to send control codes to full-size printer.
To load our sample file. Press "Z" then "L" and enter "TEST", when the prompt 'file name' appears. The file will then load, if you then
press "G" (goto) and "a1" for position, you will then see the figures appear.
To print the figures in condensed mode on your printer press "Z", "P", "1" (if your printer use CHR$ 15 for condensed), "15" (for CHR$
15), then enter "0", "0".
Then press "P" to print, "A" to print all and 15 for number of columns.
To display a print a histogram press "W" to put figures into work area. Press "E" and enter a1-o1. Press "X" then "G" and enter 23296
(for a large screen) or 23297 (for a small screen). Press GRAPHICS (symbol shift 9) enter 1 for number of groups, 15 for number in
group, "Y" for gaps. You will then see the histogram displayed, you can type next in via keyboard or press GRAPHICS (symbol shift 9)
to print on full-size printer. Press EDIT to return to spread sheet. (see manual page 12)
