SCENARIO
Micky is a greedy little Spider. Most Spiders are creepy and crawly but not our Micky,
his is a loveable little fellow and right now he’s hungry.
So, if you could, would you please help Micky to trap some food, ie: Wasps, Flies, etc.
on his web and take them to his lair.
Now most Spiders don’t have much difficulty catching Flies but Micky is such a nice
Spider, the Flies gang up on him. Some of the Flies and Wasps land on Mickys web and
then break away so as to try and destroy his web.
If Micky is on the thread that the Flies take with them, then its Bye-Bye Micky!
So you can see Micky needs all the help he can get.
The Flies and Wasps drop faster and faster and so make life very difficult tor our poor
hairy friend. If not IMPOSSIBLE.
TO PLAY
Move around the screen making up your web, Flies will fall down from the top of the
screen. Pick the Flies up by moving into them ana then remove them to one of your 8
stores. Take care not to leave Flies on the web for too long, as they fall off taking
a bit of the web (and you!) with them.
You cannot reverse on a strand of web that is not complete and if after catching a Fly
or Wasp, you happen to go onto an incomplete part of the web then you drop the Fly or
Wasp. You must fill all 8 lairs to complete a screen. The Flies get faster and more
frequent, you only get 4 lives, so be careful!
GUARANTEE
All THOR GAMES FROM THE GODS products have a life-time guarantee. If this tape ever
fails to load, it will be replaced totally free of charge, if returned with details,
directly to Thor Computer Software, Liverpool. If the tape shows any form of physical
damage, please include £1.50 to cover replacement costs. This guarantee does not
affect and is in addition to your statutory consumer rights.
LOADING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Connect the EAR socket on your Spectrum to the EAR socket on your recorder and ensure
the MIC lead is disconnected as well.
2. Place the cassette tape in the recorder and rewind to the beginning.
3. Type LOAD "".
4. Press PLAY on the cassette recorder.
5. SPIDERS WEB will now load automatically and the word PROGRAM will now appear at the
top left-hand corner of your screen. When the word Program leaves the screen the main
introduction panel will appear approximately 35 seconds later. If loading is
unsuccessful, rewind the cassette, adjust the VOLUME control on the recorder and try
again.
NOTE: Full loading instructions can be found in your Spectrum manual.
