Bard's Tale Remixis a role-playing game in the dungeon crawler subgenre. The gameplay is based on turn-based exploration and combat in a first-person view inside a grid-based dungeon environment. Players control a party of adventurers progressing through interconnected corridors and rooms, encountering hostile creatures, traps, and various obstacles.
The narrative is set in a fantasy city threatened by an evil wizard who has taken control. The player’s party is tasked with assembling a team of characters—each featuring typical fantasy classes—and must explore the city, gather information, and journey into dungeons beneath the city. The objective is to challenge and defeat the wizard, liberating the city from his influence. The structure closely follows the plot and mechanics of the original The Bard’s Tale series.
