Cuatro en Rayais a digital version of the classic board game Connect Four, released in 1986 for the ZX Spectrum 16K. The objective is to align four pieces of the same color in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, before the opponent manages to do so. The gameplay simulates the physical disc-dropping mechanism of the original board game.
This adaptation belongs to the board and card game category. Players alternate turns, attempting to form a line of four while also blocking the opponent's moves. The software provides a simulated board with a grid layout for two players to compete.
